Vietnam vet drives 30,000 miles a year so fellow veterans never miss a medical appointment

Van Karg of Hutchinson, Minnesota, is a Vietnam veteran who has spent three decades paying it forward to fellow vets. Over 30 years he has logged more than 15,000 volunteer hours as a DAV Transportation Network driver, covering approximately 30,000 miles annually to bring veterans to VA medical appointments and delivering wheelchairs, medical beds, and other equipment to those in need across the state.
