What’s welcome
Positive recognition
Sincere recognition of someone who made a real, positive difference for a person or community.
Family-friendly recognition
Stories anyone can read — kind, respectful, and appropriate for all ages.
Memorial honors
Honoring someone who has passed away, shared with care and the family's blessing.
Community stories
Everyday acts of service, courage, and generosity that strengthen a neighborhood.
What isn’t allowed
Harassment or insults
Content meant to demean, mock, threaten, or target a person or group.
Defamatory claims
Unverified or false statements that could harm someone's reputation.
Political attacks
Using a hero's page as a vehicle for partisan campaigning or political conflict.
Exact private home addresses
Pinpointing where someone lives without their explicit permission. Use a city-level location instead.
Sensitive personal information
Phone numbers, financial details, government IDs, or other private data.
Photos without permission
Images you don't have the right to share, or that the person hasn't agreed to.
Identifying details about children
A minor's full name combined with their exact school or home location.
Fundraising claims
Solicitations for money or donations, unless approved by our team in advance.
Medical, legal, or criminal accusations
Allegations of wrongdoing, diagnoses, or legal conclusions about any person.
